- TENNIS COURTS ARE FOR TENNIS ONLY.
- All players must complete a liability waiver prior to any play.
- All guests need to check in and pay their guest fee before they start play.
- All players need to provide their own tennis balls; tennis baskets are for teaching purposes only.
- Members have priority over Non-Members.
- Proper tennis attire is required: TENNIS SHOES are required, no running, black bottom, flip flops or dress shoes that mark the court will be allowed.
- SHIRTS and SHOES must be worn at all times on the courts and in the clubhouse. No bathing suits or sports bras are allowed.
- No beverages in glass containers, no color sports drinks, food, or gum are allowed on the courts.
- No food or drink is permitted inside the clubhouse.
- No alcoholic beverages will be permitted on clubhouse grounds.
- No skateboarding, bicycle riding, rollerblading, roller skating, scooter riding, or other wheeled- recreational vehicles or toys on tennis courts.
- Only tennis balls are allowed to be used on the tennis courts. No other sport balls are allowed.
- No other sport practicing (no golf, baseball, softball, hockey, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball etc...practice)
- No paint or colored powder of any kind is allowed to be used on the court.
- No profanity will be permitted.
- No Smoking is NOT permitted. No tobacco or vaping products are allowed on site.
- No marking the tennis courts for pickleball or paddle ball.
- Loud music is not allowed on the courts if it disrupts play.
- Balls are not to be hit against the windscreens, clubhouse or inside the clubhouse. They are not to be used as backboards.
- No running in the upstairs clubhouse or surrounding upstairs patio.
- Lockers are available during play only. You must provide your own lock. You must empty your locker after play. Any Locker left overnight with a lock on it will be emptied by the Murrieta Tennis Club and your contents will be confiscated.
- Please do not use court benches or chairs as targets in any way.
- Please do not take off or adjust the tennis court nets.
- Please do not place any other chairs or patio furniture on the courts. Only plastic and/or resin furniture is allowed on the courts.
- Please do not abuse nets and other equipment.
- Parents are responsible for and must control their children with due regard to the comfort of other players. Children are not permitted to run unattended about the clubhouse or the clubhouse grounds.
- Adults taking tennis lessons must provide supervision for their children. All children must be adult supervised on and off the courts.
- No pets or animals are permitted on the tennis courts.
- Murrieta Tennis Club is not responsible for articles lost, stolen or mislaid.
- All league team players must be members of the Murrieta Tennis Club during the current league season (3 month minimum). Additional league fees may apply.
- We reserve the right to refuse or turn away problem players. Management may from time to time, add, delete and/or change any rule or regulation of the Tennis Club that they deem necessary.
- All persons including members, guests, non-members and their guests shall abide by and fully comply with the clubs policies, rules & regulations which are, from time to time, adopted by the club with respect to reasonable and safe use and enjoyment of the facilities of the Murrieta Tennis Club.
- We expect players to abide by the USTA’s Player Code (https://www.usta.com/content/dam/usta/pdfs/2015_Code.pdf).
- Management shall have the authority to regulate the hours of operation, as it deems necessary.
- NOTICE Video surveillance in use on these premises. All activities are monitored.
- We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

• All Court Reservations are now required in advance.

• Members can reserve a court no more than 2 days (48 hours) in advance. Online reservations close 3 hours prior to start time.

Members may use their online accounts to reserve tennis courts. To reserve courts online you must set up your online account go to www.murrietatennisclub.com then member login. If a player does not have an online account (i.e. not a member) to make reservations, then he/she may make a reservation at the front desk on the same day of play. Non-members may also call in on the day of to make a court reservation if available, and pay over the phone with a valid credit card. No refunds will be issued for cancellation of same day reservations.
• Members can only reserve one court at a time.
• Maximum court reservation time is for an hour and a half (1 ½), additional playing time is based on court availability.
• Court time will be held for 30 minutes after the scheduled time, then “reassigned” if other players are waiting.
• We do not guarantee preferences regarding a specific court.
• Murrieta Tennis Club tournaments league events, special functions and lessons have preference for court times.
• Out of courtesy to other players, members are expected to cancel their court time as soon as possible. Failure to show or not to cancel several times may result in players losing their court reservation privileges.
• The ball machine will be booked for a maximum of one (1) hour per reservation.
• Please call, text or email to reserve the ball machine.
• Ball machine rentals must be done during Murrieta Tennis Club office hours and not during prime time hours. Please see the Ball Machine policy for more information.

All racquet stringing is done in-house. All Racquet Stringing Invoices are paid at the time of pick-up, payable to Murrieta Tennis Club. Please note, although frames are inspected for damage when they are handed in, we cannot guarantee the condition of the frame prior to stringing. Should frame damage occur as a result of normal stringing procedure, we cannot be held responsible. Racquets must be collected within 30 days of the restring, failure to do so may result in the racket being hired out to customers. Rush orders are $10 additional per racquet. Turnaround time for a Rush job is just 24 hours. Although we try our best to have racquets ready in 3-5 business days (does not include weekends), at busier times it may be slower and as such cannot be guaranteed to be complete within 3-5 business days (does not include weekends).

In consideration of being permitted to use the Murrieta Tennis Club facilities and equipment, on behalf of myself, my family, my heirs, and my assigns, I hereby release Murrieta Tennis Club, it’s owners, employees, and agents, from liability for injury, death, or loss suffered by me, while using the facility, equipment or in any way associated with participating in any and all Club activities now or in the future, resulting from ordinary negligence of Murrieta Tennis Club, it’s agents, or employees. By the execution of this agreement, I assume full responsibility for any and all injuries or damages which may occur to me (including loss or theft of personal property) as a result of negligence on the part of Murrieta Tennis Club or it’s employees, in or about the Club premises. I affirm there are inherent risks in all health and fitness club activities, that I am aware of and appreciate these risks, and that I assume all responsibility for personal injury, death, or loss resulting from these injuries. In addition, I authorize Murrieta Tennis Club to take emergency action in the event of an accident. The undersigned hereby agrees to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Murrieta Tennis Club and its officers, employees and agents from and against any and all loss, liability charges and expenses (including attorney’s fees) and costs which may arise by reason of participation in any program. As parent/guardian, I hereby consent to emergency treatment of my minor child as a result of accident or injury. I further agree to pay any and all cost incurred as a result of said treatment, I agree to carefully inspect and satisfy for myself that the facilities provided are reasonably safe for their intended use. Once having conducted the inspection, I agree to expressly assume the risk of participating at the premises. I understand that the Murrieta Tennis Club retains the right to use photos taken during activities for publicity purposes. Multi Media Release I hereby authorize the Murrieta Tennis Club to create and/or publish photographs, video, and audio recording of my child, as well as written news articles, and multi-media presentations of my children and their tennis playing for the Murrieta Tennis Club. I understand that I may contact the Murrieta Tennis club to request removal of any such photographs, video, written articles, and audio recording at anytime.
Risk warning: You acknowledge that by using the tennis courts and playing tennis you will be exposed to certain risks, including the risk of physical injury. You may also be exposed to the possibility of contracting an illness, including without limitation the COVID-19 virus. The COVID-19 virus can spread very quickly and result in very serious medical complications in some people. You agree that the use of the tennis courts is entirely at your own risk. You have read and understood this risk warning and voluntarily accept and assume the inherent risks in use of the tennis courts and playing tennis.

Month to Month EFT. All Monthly Memberships are Month-to-Month (EFT required, auto renews monthly), cancellation policy applies. See cancellation policy section for more details on canceling a membership. I understand that I am signing a contract with the Murrieta Tennis Club and agree to pay for membership for the specified period of time, this contract is binding and I understand I will receive no refunds and that this is a continuous membership with no extensions/refunds for non-use. Billing: I understand my monthly dues will be deducted via Electron Funds Transfer (EFT) from my bank account or Visa/MC/Amex on the 1st each month (including monthly dues, late fees, any additional charges, past due amounts) I understand that I am in full control of my payment, and if at any time I decide to make any changes, I will write to or visit the Murrieta Tennis Club. If payment is declined for any reason balances are due 5 days after the billing date will incur a late fee of $15, past due accounts are subject to collections. Membership Dues. The Murrieta Tennis Club shall, from time to time, fix the amount and terms of payment for goods, services and the use of the Club’s facilities by members and their guests. The Murrieta Tennis Club reserves the right to change the amount of the dues, given thirty (30) days written notice. The Murrieta Tennis Club may assess additional charges for membership status changes, replacement cards, lockers, and returned payments. In addition to the health and fitness services which the Murrieta Tennis Club provides pursuant to this contract, the Club may, from time to time, also provide additional services which are specifically set forth in the Club’s Rules and Regulations and/or newsletter. Those services are available to members upon request and are subject to an additional charge. The Club’s reserves the right to change the services provided and/or the amount charged therefore without written notice. All dues, fees for other services and obligations owed to the Club by a member shall be due and payable on the first day of each month and shall be delinquent if not received by the fifth of each month. Any failure to make payments of the monthly installments and charges due will cause the cancellation of the member or member’s add-on parties to make monthly installments and the full amount remaining shall become immediately due and payable. Acceptance of any payment after default will not release member from any obligations under this Contract. You agree to pay court costs and reasonable attorney’s fees involved in collecting amounts owed under this Contract, as determined by the court. Electronic Funds Transfer (“EFT’). A member using Electronic Funds Transfer has authorized his or her bank to pay membership dues and other charges on the 1st day of each month. If funds cannot be collected on that date, the member will be charged a service fee by the Club in addition to any service fee which the member’s bank may charge, and the member will be responsible for payment of the amount due. Finance Charge. If full payment of the member’s account is not received by the 1st of the month, any balance unpaid will be subject to a finance charge of 10%. The finance charge will be added to the unpaid balance after deducting payments and before adding current charges. Return Charge. There will be a $15.00 charge for any returned check debit or credit card decline for any reason. Jr. Program—All Jr. Group classes are on a perpetual billing cycle. Meaning you will be billed every month until you notify us in writing of a cancellation. DIRECT MONTHLY BILLING TO A CREDIT CARD OR CHECKING ACCOUNT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL JR. PROGRAM AND JR. ACADEMY GROUPS. Clients/Members/Junior Program/Junior Academy Participants acknowledges and agrees that this Agreement, including all rights, obligations, and privileges contained herein, may be assigned or transferred by Murrieta Tennis Club to a successor entity in the event of a sale, merger, or transfer of assets. Upon such transfer, the new entity shall assume all responsibilities and obligations under this Agreement, and Clients/Member/Junior Program/Junior Academy Participants agree that their rights and obligations shall continue uninterrupted under the same terms and conditions. Clients/Members/Junior Program/Junior Academy Participants acknowledge that no additional consent is required for such transfer.
Membership Includes: Membership includes Court Reservations for the member (additional fee applies for all guests), Club Play (organized Men's & Ladies Doubles throughout the week), Member rate for group lessons, Member rate for Private lessons. Membership does not include lessons. Membership is required for all league play. Nature of Membership. All memberships are mere licenses which shall give the holder thereof the revocable right to use and enjoy the Murrieta Tennis Club facilities subject to the rules and regulations established by the CLUB. It is expressly agreed and understood that the holders of licenses in the form of membership shall neither individually nor collectively have any proprietary right or interest in or to any of the properties, assets, premises, or any other thing or matter whatsoever with respect to the Murrieta Tennis Club or its facilities, or the operations of the Club. Memberships and membership cards are not transferable. Single Membership. An adult membership shall consist of an individual, whether married or not. The spouse and/or children, if applicable, shall not be entitled to the rights and privileges of this type of membership, but may be guests in accordance with the Club’s Guest Policy. Family Membership. A family membership shall be defined as a primary member and his or her spouse, if applicable, and their dependent children eighteen (18) years of age and under living in the same household. Junior Membership. A junior membership shall consist of a junior 18 years and under.

First, we’re sad to see you go, but if you really want to make the move. Here are some things to remember: All cancellations are effective the following month. Cancellations received on or after the 1st of the month will take effect the following month. Cancellation must be receive by the last day of the month to be effective the following month. All cancellations must be received in writing. No other means of cancellation (phone, text, or verbal statement) is acceptable. All accounts must be in good standing to cancel. All cancellations are not retroactive and shall not be entitled to a refund of any part of the paid or pre-paid payment. All memberships & JR Programs are non-transferable at cancellation. Non-usage of the club, not attending groups or classes and/or non-payment of dues/group lessons are not methods of canceling..
All memberships are on a continuous payment plan and will continue until the buyer cancels the contract in writing with a clients signature. All Paid In Full Membership are non-refundable and non-transferable. All cancellations and holds must be received in writing. All cancellations and holds are effective the following month. Memberships can be put on hold for a maximum of 90 days. A member wishing to put their membership on hold for more than 90 days is considered a cancellation. To cancel or place your membership on hold you must fill out a form at the club, complete our digital online Membership Hold / Cancel Form or email us at info@murrietatennisclub.com, we do not accept cancellations over the phone or text. No other means of cancellation or hold (including by phone, or verbal statement) is acceptable. All memberships must pay for a minimum of 2 full calendar months prior to being eligible to cancel (Example: if your start date is March 15th, and you wish to cancel you may do so after May 31st.). Paid-In-Full memberships expire on their expiration date, a cancellation is not necessary. Early cancellation of a paid-in-full membership does not warrant a refund. If you cancel your membership, and then wish to re-activate your membership, you are considered a new member and any membership hold you had taken previously is erased and our re-activation policy applies. Junior Program Groups
Our Jr Program groups consist of our Tots, Stars & Jr/Hs camp/groups. All Jr. Program registrations are for a set camp/group (day & time). If you show up to a camp/group you were not assigned, you will unfortunately be asked to leave.
Junior Program Billing
Junior Program registration form is required prior to attending any group. Monthly rates are based on one set class per week. All Jr. Program registrations are for a set group. If you show up to a group you were not assigned, you will unfortunately be asked to leave. All Jr. Program groups are ongoing year-round. All Jr. Program group registrations are ongoing and on an auto billing cycle. Meaning, once registered your child is enrolled in that group and you will be billed every month on the 1st of the month until you notify us in writing of a cancellation (see cancel policy). Direct monthly billing to a credit card or checking account is required. Rates listed are our non-member rates, member rates are available. Junior Program Start Date
Start dates are listed next to the class selection. This is the first day your child will attend the camp/group lesson.
Junior Program First Months Billing
First months billing is done at the time of registration. If your start date is the first class of the month you will be charged for the entire month. Otherwise, you will be charged a pro-rated fee for your first month at the time of registration. Pro-rated billing rates are based off of group rates at four classes per month.
Junior Program Group Ratios
Due to COVID, our Jr Program & Jr Academy group sizes may be reduced. When social distancing and gatherings recommendations change our camp/group size and ratios may change without notice.

We cancel classes one hour prior to class time if it is raining. When a scheduled class is canceled we notify clients by email and posting on social media. It is the student/parents responsibility to check their email, social media or call/text the club to verify rain-out cancellations. Jr Program Groups (Tots, Stars, Jr/Hs Groups) - We have a strict NO MAKE-UP policy. If a student misses a scheduled class, we do not offer the option to take another class as a make-up. For our Jr Program groups we will only issue credits if class offerings fall below four times in the current month.

Changing Classes
If you are currently enrolled in our program and wish to change groups you must register for the new group using our Jr Program registration form. Then you must email us the class you would like to drop. Registering for another group reserves your spot in the new time slot but will NOT cancel other groups you already registered in. Additional charges may apply. In the event Murrieta Tennis Club changes your child's class day or time you will be notified. Instructors evaluate students and recommend that they change levels as they master the skills, but this is not a notice to change classes.
All communication for our Jr. Groups & Jr. Academy will done by email, so please use an email that you check on a regular basis.

Our Jr Academy groups (Advanced Stars, Tournament Training, Junior Round Robin) must have prior approval from one of our instructors before sign-up and registration. If you are currently in one of our Jr Program Groups (Tots, Stars, Jr/Hs) then our instructors move kids up once they are ready. If your student is in one of these groups and you would like to be evaluated just let us know by emailing the club and the instructor can do this during your next scheduled group lesson. Tournament Training Drop In rates are $35 Member / $45 Non-Member per class. Advanced Stars Drop In rates are $26 Member / $34 Non-Member per class. Junior Round Robin - Must sign up in advance. 24 hour cancellation policy applies. Drop in space is limited and must sign up in advance. If you reserved space in one of our Jr. Academy groups and are a no show you will be charged as if you have attended. All drop-in cancellations for our Jr Academy groups must be received 24 hours in advance to avoid being charged.
